Adult Counseling Services
The Adult Counseling Program helps to empower, support and provide domestic violence education to victims of domestic violence. We support victims in making their own decisions in a safe and confidential environment. Services are provided by Master level counselors and social workers.
In counseling you will:
- Learn how to identify signs of abuse,
- Learn how to break the cycle of violence,
- Develop a safety plan.
- Rebuild self-esteem and confidence,
- Identify coping strategies,
- Strengthen assertiveness and
- Learn more about aspects of a healthy relationship

Children’s Counseling Services
The Children’s Counseling Program provides advocacy, support and violence education to children who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence to prevent future family patterns of domestic violence. Services are provided by Master level counselors and social workers trained in helping children process the trauma experienced and help them to regulate their emotions.
Safe From the Start (SFS) is a children’s program with specialized services in helping children birth to age 5, and their families, who have been exposed to any violence/trauma. This includes domestic violence, community violence, house fires, etc.
Case Management Services
The Case Management Program provides financial education, resources, and case management to current clients in the victims counseling program to facilitate financial empowerment and independence. Issues addressed may include budgeting, employment, education, immigration, crime victim compensation, and housing needs/referrals.
